If local calls cost 35 cents a minute, then the $9.99 monthly cost of Celocity is the same as 28.5 minutes local airtime. If the average call is three minutes (and many are a lot longer) then this equates to 9.5 calls per month or 2.2 calls per week.
Long distance calls cost 35 + 30 or $0.65/minute. The $19.99 monthly cost of Celocity Unlmited Long Distance is the same as 30.75 minutes or slightly more than 10 calls.
